Verydarkman 'VDM', a renowned Nigerian social media activist and critic, is once again making waves online. This time, he's been mentioned by Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, popularly known as the 'Happie Boys'.
The duo, who recently returned from Cyprus where they studied courtesy of OPM Pastor Chibuzor Chinyere, has sparked a buzz on the internet with a sincere appeal to VDM for assistance
Recently, In a live video session with their fans, these two were heard and seen pleading with VDM, honestly asking him for job opportunities.
The Happie Boys first gained a widespread attention in 2022 for their viral dance moves while on duty as security guards, which led to their sudden sack and that catapulted them to the internet fame.
The viral ex-Chicken Republic staffs in 2022 received grace from the OPM pastor, Pastor Chibuzor at the latter granted them free scholarship to study in Cyprus. Few months after, Happie Boys called out the clergyman, claiming that he abandoned them in the foreign land and refused sending them upkeep money.
That particular act made pastor Chibuzor very angry and he cursed them and pledged not to assist them ever again, and this now, led to their immediate deportation from Cyprus back to Nigeria. However, their rapid rise to fame was tainted by this controversy.
Their act of ingratitude drew the attention and reaction of few celebrities and netizens. Additionally, it incurred the wrath of the Nigerian social media activist and social media personality VDM, knowing that he is one to be known for his outspoken critiques, he harshly criticized them for their blatant disrespect and told them that for disrespecting the man of God, his curses will surely follow them and they will suffer, if they don’t apologize.
Currently back to Nigeria and and automatically back to square zero, the Happie Boys who had previously mocked VDM for his heated commotions with brand influencers and celebrities found themselves in an ironic taint of hope.
Whether their plea was honest or sprinkled with sarcasm remains uncertain to everyone.
